"Do It Again" is a song performed by American gimmicky worship band Pinnacle Worship. Written by Mack Brock, Chris Brown, Matt Redman and Steven Furtick,[2] the song was released every bit the first single from their 2022 anthology At that place Is a Cloud.[iii] [4] It was released to Christian radio on Feb 23, 2018. The song peaked at No. 6 on the U.s. Hot Christian Songs chart, becoming their second Top x single from that chart. It lasted on the charts for 33 weeks, their 2nd longest charting song.[v] The song is played in a B-flat major key, and 172 beats per minute.[6]

Background [edit]

The primeval version of "Do It Again" was released on September nine, 2016, as part of the extended play titled Speak Revival.[7] The live version of "Practice It Again" was then released on Feb 17, 2018, during the pre-order period of In that location Is a Cloud, as the second promotional single of the anthology.[8] [nine] It was recorded during the 12-day "Code Orange Revival" event in September 2016,[10] held by Elevation Church at its Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, Due north Carolina.[eleven] "Do It Over again" impacted Christian radio on Feb 23, 2018, with an extended play containing the radio, live, reprise, acoustic and Spanish versions of the song released on the same day.[12]

Writing and development [edit]

Worship leaders and songwriters Mack Brock and Chris Dark-brown had an interview with Kevin Davis in Reading, Pennsylvania for a 'Behind the Song' characteristic published on NewReleaseToday.[13] Mack Brock shared that the vocal was inspired past a sermon titled "Don't Stop on half dozen" that Steven Furtick preached at a Hillsong Briefing, whereby Matt Redman identified a song concept.[xiii] Chris Chocolate-brown, in relation to the song's takeaway bulletin, said "We want people to know that God is faithful."[thirteen]

Music videos [edit]

The lyric and acoustic videos of "Do It Once again" was published on YouTube on September 30, 2016.[14] [15] The live music video of "Do Information technology Again" which also includes the reprise, recorded at Elevation Church building's Ballantyne campus in Charlotte, Due north Carolina was released on Feb 24, 2017, through YouTube.[16] The lyric video of the song'southward Spanish version titled "Lo Harás Otra Vez (Do It Again)" was released on Baronial 21, 2017, via YouTube.[17] The live audio-visual functioning video of the song was then published on March 1, 2022 via YouTube.[18]
